🎉 Volume 34: tonight's the night!

There's still time to buy tickets for the event

Today is the day!

Volume 34 is happening tonight! We can’t wait to welcome you to Eighth and Eight Spaces; we’re a part of the Performing Arts and Technology Festival. And yes, we’ve timed the show so that if you happen to be at Kid Koala before, you’ll be able to come join us!

Our speakers: top row from left to right: Oscar Magor, Quyen Hoang, Andie Lloyd, Jason Campbell, Jeff Chiba Stearns. Bottom row, left to right: John Gibeau, Jordan Brett, Colby Spencer, Tony Durke, Trudi Goels.

The basics:

  • The event starts at 9pm.

  • It’ll be happening at Eighth and Eight Creative Spaces.

  • We’ve got refreshments for sale, including beer, wine, and other non-alcoholic options!

  • Tickets are just $12.

What is PechaKucha?

PechaKucha is a format for sharing ideas in which presenters use a format of 20 slides, 20 seconds per slide. That's a total of 6 minutes and 40 seconds each, kind of like show-and-tell for grown-ups! PechaKucha began in Tokyo two decades ago and has since spread to over a thousand cities worldwide.

We always welcome new speakers

Got a topic you’re passionate about? We’d love to hear you speak at an upcoming PKNW event about it! If you or someone you know would be a perfect PechaKucha fit, reach out and let us know!

Along with staying subscribed to this newsletter for the latest PKNW news, we hope you’ll follow our Instagram and Facebook pages, too. We also encourage you to follow our PechaKucha New West page so you can take a look at some of our previous presentations.
